PARSIQ, a full suite data network for building Web3 dApps and protocols, has recently launched its Unicornization Campaign. Designed to propel innovation and further bolster the global blockchain ecosystem, the campaign’s main focus is to invest in promising Web3 projects on the recently released Reactive Network, a parallelised interoperability execution layer for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystems. The program is now open for enrollment and will accept applications until 30 April 2024.
One of the factors slowing the mass adoption of blockchain technology is its siloed nature. As the Web3 landscape continues to evolve, there is a pressing need for tools that make it possible for different blockchains to communicate and simplify the transfer of digital assets between networks. Reactive Network is specifically developed to address this need. Empowering developers with the ability to interact with any contract anywhere, Reactive Network facilitates the building of modular decentralised apps (dApps), allows computation across entire blockchain histories and eliminates the reliance on external data providers. By integrating advanced technologies such as parallelised EVM for scalable processing, zero-knowledge proofs for event chain verification, a relayer network for cross-chain interoperability and lightning-fast processing speeds that support over 8,000 transactions per second, the platform paves the way for a truly decentralised and interconnected Web3 ecosystem. Recognizing the vast potential of Reactive Network, the Unicornization Campaign aims to foster community involvement in blockchain development by collecting a wide range of ideas that could benefit from the network’s advanced technology, particularly in enhancing multichain or cross-chain capabilities.
Anastasia Nesterova, PARSIQ’s head of marketing, said, “The essence of blockchain technology lies in its community, and with this campaign, we’re tapping into this vibrant ecosystem like never before. We’re inviting everyone, from seasoned developers to everyday crypto enthusiasts, to share their visions for the future of decentralised applications. This initiative showcases our commitment to not only listen but actively involve the community in shaping the next generation of blockchain applications. It’s an opportunity for us to discover hidden gems of ideas and bring them to life, reinforcing the transformative power of collaboration and innovation.”
Members of the global crypto community, blockchain startups and developers, emerging tech companies and anyone interested in the evolution of blockchain technology are all eligible to apply for the program. Applicants must submit an idea or concept for projects or dApps that leverage Reactive Smart Contracts. PARSIQ rewards the best feasible ideas with a $100 prize, paid out in PRQ tokens. There is no cap on the number of ideas that an applicant can submit and get compensated for, provided they meet the selection criteria.
Rong Kai Wong, CEO of PARSIQ, added, “At PARSIQ, we believe the future of blockchain isn’t just in the hands of developers, but in the imaginative minds of those who use it every day. The Unicornization Campaign is more than an initiative; it’s a call to action for visionaries worldwide to contribute their ideas and see them transformed into reality with Reactive Smart Contracts. Our goal is not just to innovate but to inspire a movement where technology serves the collective imagination, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the blockchain space.”
The deadline for submission is 30 April 2024. All winners will be announced on 31 May 2024. In addition to proposing an idea or concept, there is also the option for developers to only help implement an idea for a reward after it has been selected by the PARSIQ team. The bounty page with more details for this will be unveiled by early June 2024.
