To say that things have been anything but smooth for the release of Borderlands 4 would be an understatement. The game has received a lot of criticism from players about a myriad of bugs and technical issues that have continued to linger and dominate the conversation about it. And most recently, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 was delayed by Gearbox Software without a clear release date. Even though the company has acknowledged the problems being shared by players online, and pledged to release updates to help solve them, the game hasn’t had a very good launch. But that’s only part of the issues that continue to pile on for Borderlands 4, as another problem from Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford can potentially make everything a lot worse for everyone.
